Summer Nightastic Returns
Disneyland has brought back last summers fireworks show and Fantasmic.
With Fantasmic...the dragon actually works this year and Flotsum & Jetsum didn't sink, yet.
Also making its debut is World of Color at Disney's California Adventure. Now I haven't been able to see this show yet as Disney never posted on their website that you need a fastpass to have a seat for this show. Yep...you have to be there at opening to have a chance to get one from the Grizzly River Run fastpass kiosk. Otherwise you can make reservations for dinner at Ariel's grotto or the Wine Country Trattoria. But you have dinner then standing room only for the show. But make reservations well in advance...I tried and they were booked for 2 weeks already.
Also new at DCA this summer is Glow Fest. I have no idea what this is about but judging from photos a friend took...you dance to music and they give you glow sticks. This party starts at Sunshine Plaza (the big sun fountain) then moves into Hollywood Backlot.
Pixie Hollow also has a little light/fountain show thing that happens after dark. It's kinda cute and pretty. Check the schedule for times.
Tomorrowland Terrace (the stage that goes up & down) also has the TLT Dance Club. If you like High School Muscial's fashion sense then this is your place. KIIS FM spins tracks while teenage looking "dance instructors" show you the moves. But if you get hungry or thirsty you'll need to fine food & drink elsewhere. The restaurant here is currently under going some rehab.
